Tea Ceremony and Gold Leaf Experience

This course combines a tea ceremony experience with a gold leaf application experience.
First, you will change into a kimono and experience an authentic tea ceremony.
The tea ceremony is conducted by a master tea ceremony master who has mastered the art of tea ceremony,
and you will enjoy a precious moment of experiencing the depth of Japanese culture.
After the tea ceremony, you will have the opportunity to try applying gold leaf while wearing a kimono.

Making a small plate with real gold leaf

More than 98% of Japan's gold leaf is produced in Kanazawa.
It is said that gold leaf was first produced in Kanazawa in 1593.
We order such historic, pure, and authentic gold leaf and have visitors experience applying gold leaf to a small plate.
Using thin gold leaf, which flies off with just a breath of air, let's make a small plate shining in a beautiful golden color. You can take your finished work home as a souvenir.

Dressing

You can select the kimono of your choice and we will dress you.
For female clients, a hairdressing service is also available.
Tea ceremony experience

In the Japanese tea room, you will learn about the history of the Japanese tea ceremony and how to prepare tea and you will be able to observe a professional tea ceremony method by the master of the tea house.
You will enjoy tea made by yourself along with tea sweets.
Lecture

You will learn the procedure, how to use tools, and how to make it beautiful.
Gold leaf application experience

You will actually apply the gold leaf by yourself.
Staff will give you advice.
